The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has forced changes on how we operate and interact with our guests, suppliers and various other stakeholders. We understand that guests and staff naturally will be concerned about their safety at Horizon Inn. As such, below are some of the protocols in place at Horizon Inn to reduce the risk of transmitting or contracting Covid-19 during your stay.
WEAR YOUR MASK
All guests/visitors and staff members are required to wear a mask at all times when in public areas of the hotel. Masks may only be removed when in private spaces i.e room or when eating breakfast.
We kindly request that guests, visitors and staff members sanitize their hands regularly. A sanitizing station is in place at our reception.
Complimentary hand sanitizers are available on check-in.
All staff members have personal hand sanitizer to use throughout the day as they carry out their duties.
Staff and guests are required to adhere to social distancing of atleast 1 metre when communicating or sitting in waiting area and during breakfast.
All high contact public areas are sanitized regularly during the course of the day from door handles, credit card machine and TV remotes to breakfast room tables. All surfaces in the room are cleaned with a sanitizer by our dedicated housekeeping team covering shower handles, door handles, taps, table and chairs among other surfaces.
Guests and staff are required to have their temperature checked when checking in and reporting for duty. All in-house guests and their visitors will have their temperature checked every morning. Anyone with a temperature of 37.5 degrees celsius or higher will be required to isolate on site while we contact health officials.
All rooms and hotel public areas such as breakfast area, reception and lounge are disinfected regularly by a private contractor. Our housekeeping staff then follow up with a deep cleaning exercise.
